Basically a village which is almost abandoned, is chosen & through various steps, it is equipped to show as a model village to the rest of the nation.

Illiterates:
Illiteracy is the word which has been associated with India and Indians since ages and after being advanced in different fields in par with the developed countries, still we are not able to achieve literacy levels.

Smart life a social organization has taken a step forward to increase the literacy levels.
                  
Project:
Increasing literacy levels in the rural India by selecting 5 teachers from the Govt. schools in the village and asking them to adopt 5 persons each from the village population and teach them to read and write (at least read) their regional language news paper within a year.

Scholarship:
India has the youngest population in the world, which is a great asset for any country. But still we lack one thing that is a better education which is very much required for development of a country or an individual, because anything can be robbed but not the knowledge of a person.

Project:
Scholarship to two kids (a girl & a boy), that is bearing expenses for their books, fees etc from 8th std to 10th standard every year, i.e. 2 kids for 2009 - 2010 and next year we are going to select another 2 kids for 2010 - 2011.
